Research in EHA plays a vital role in the capacity building of staff, gaining insights into existing challenges, identifying key areas for interventions, enhancing infrastructure, shaping programs, and publishing articles.
One of the most important activities of our research division is conducting Ethics Committee meetings to produce ethically sound research work. EHA has a strong commitment to the highest standards of ethical research and practice.
Institutional Ethics Committee (IEC)
The EHA IEC reviews and approves research proposals involving human participants. Our aim is to safeguard the dignity, rights, and safety of all research participants. The committee comprises both internal and external experts across various fields.

Approved by the GOI, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Department of Health Research.
